We are now accepting nominations for applicants for the upcoming 2015 Vermont Leadership Series. The series is an intense, three-part training for persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities (federal definition) and/or a family member. The series will help you develop skills to be an effective advocate and leader, to support others in finding their voice, to build relationships with policymakers, and to work together to make Vermont a better place for all citizens. Applications to participate are due January 26th.
Selected participants will be required to attend all three sessions which start on a Saturday morning and go through Sunday afternoon on the following dates: March 7-8, April 18-19, and June 6-7. The cost of hotel accommodations will be covered by the sponsoring organizations.
