Our next AAWARE autism parent support group meeting will be on Thursday, November 19th from 5pm to 7pm. We will be meeting at the café at the Hunger Mountain Co-op in Montpelier. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL NOT HAVE A DECEMBER MEETING and we'll resume our monthly meetings in January.
Autism support groups are a very important way for parents to connect with others, network, form lifelong friendships and get information on what they need. The benefits of connecting with other parents are many. Our AAWARE group is a positive environment to seek support and share your experiences and wisdom with other parents. Parents who are new to autism and seasoned parents are welcome! Regardless of the age of your child, there is always something new to learn or discover. You may wish to bring a notebook!
